The Arkansas Single Parent Scholarship Fund services 68 of the 75 counties in Arkansas along with Bowie County, TX. We provide scholarships to single parents pursuing postsecondary education. Eligibility Criteria
This award is for U.S. students. Must have a grade point average of 2.0 or higher. Must be the head of the household. Must be single (never married), legally separated, divorced, or widowed. Must be a current college student enrolled full time or part time. Must be a resident of Crawford, Franklin, or Sebastian counties, Arkansas. Must have sole custody of a child or children under the age of 18. Must be a U.S. citizen. Must be a high school graduate at time of application and be pursuing a career-oriented undergraduate course of study. Must attend one of the following colleges: University of Arkansas-Fort Smith; Arkansas Tech University-Ozark or Russellville campuses; John Brown University; Carl Albert State College; University of the Ozarks; or Arthur's Beauty School.
