About the Scholarship
Maine students enrolling in medical school at the Maine Medical Center/Tufts University or the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine are eligible to apply for this award. Eligibility Criteria
This award is for international and U.S. students. Must attend the Maine Medical Center/Tufts University School of Medicine (MMC-TUSM) or the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine. Must have one or more years of residence in Maine for purposes other than education. Priority is given to a student who meets two or more of the following: he/she has received a high school diploma, or its equivalent, in Maine; he/she has received a baccalaureate degree from a four-year college or university in Maine; or the legal residence of the his/her parent or legal guardian is in Maine. Must commence his/her medical education on or after July 1.
