About the Scholarship
This award is for U.S. high school seniors, majoring in mathematics and/or science/technology who have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher and a competitive SAT score of 1100 or higher. Preference will be given to students who will attend University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC). Application requirements for the Dr. Freeman A. Eligibility Criteria
This award is for U.S. students. Must be a high school senior at time of application. Must graduate from a Baltimore city public high school. Must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher. Must major in the field of mathematics or science/technology. Must have a competitive SAT score. Must be accepted and attend University of Maryland at Baltimore County (UMBC). Must be a U.S. citizen.
