The Hispanic Heritage Youth Awards is awarded by the Hispanic Heritage Foundation, an organization that identifies, supports and readies Latino leaders to meet the priorities of America.
The Hispanic Heritage Youth Awards started back in 1998, with a goal of honoring Latino high school seniors with exceptional academic results. The Hispanic Heritage Youth Awards is the main source of the Hispanic Heritage Foundation's (HHF) system of talent that makes provisions for the Latino applicants through the Latinos On Fast Track (LOFT) program, as they graduate into their future lives of academics.
The following documents are expected by the applicant to be submitted to apply for the Hispanic Heritage Youth Awards:

The Hispanic Heritage Youth Awards annually awards 180 applicants with non-renewable prize money of $15000.
The deadline date for the applicants to apply for the Hispanic Heritage Youth Awards is the 15th of October.
The eligibility criteria for the applicants to apply for the Hispanic Heritage Youth Awards are:
The applicant must be a graduating high school senior.
The applicant must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
The applicant must be of Hispanic ancestry.
The applicant must have an unweighted grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
The applicant must be a U.S. student.
