Asian Scholarships are a type of minority scholarship offered to college students who belong to Asian Americans, Asian descents, and other ethnic groups to support their college expenses financially. Asians account for about 5% of the US population while Asian descent and any other ethnic group account for about more than 40% participation in higher education at some level.
Hence financial aid is required for Asian American college students. Financial aid resources run the gamut from general government assistance to specialized grants and scholarships that target candidates of Asian descent. The greatest amounts of aid overall are provided by the state and federal programs for most of the students. Thus government-backed assistance is a primary resource for them.
As there is a rise of Asian students on college campuses, more universities and organizations see the need for diversification. Hence a lot of colleges and universities now offer Asian scholarships to meet the growing demand. Students that classify themselves as:
Indian
Japanese
Korean
Chinese
Thai
Vietnamese
Filipino
Pacific Islander
The above categories help in finding scholarships for Asian students whereas the college scholarships allow you to explore diverse scholarships for minority groups based on your eligibility and specific requirements.
Some universally expected attributes for students seeking aid specifically reserved for Asian American higher education require applicants to be:-
Students should be of Asian heritage
US Citizens, permanent US residents
You must be from an accredited college or university within the U.S.
Must have a good academic standing
Some scholarship requirements could commonly include:

Wherever you apply, make sure the funds you are seeking are earmarked for students like you. Some Asian American financial aid funds specifically target college students from ethnic Asian sub-groups apart from the geographical and vocational requirements.
