About the Scholarship

This scholarship is open to U.S. undergraduate and graduate students of American Indian or Native Alaskan descent who have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher. Students must be interested in a career in media, either in front of or behind the camera; major preferences are journalism, media, broadcasting, entertainment, film, and telecom. Eligibility Criteria

This award is for U.S. students. Must be a U.S. citizen. Must be registered as a member of a federal or state recognized tribe, OR be a descendant of at least one grandparent or parent who is an enrolled tribal member. (Alaska Natives may use Native Corporation membership.) Must be enrolled full time in an accredited public or private (non-profit) college or university or an accredited tribal college or university. Must be a current undergraduate or graduate student. Must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher. Must be interested in a career in media, either in front of or behind the camera.
