About the Scholarship

This scholarship is sponsored and is accredited by the U.S. Pan Asian American Chamber of Commerce.

The Scholarship is made available to the financially needy students. The award recipients are required to attend the CelebrAsian Procurement Conference. As part of the Scholarship Award Program, USPAACC will provide travel arrangements and hotel accommodations to all scholarship recipients. Scholarship money will be paid directly to the recipient's college or university towards the cost of tuition.

The scholarship award can be used by a student towards paying for tuition and fees on-campus.

How to apply for this scholarship?

  • A student must fill in the online application that can be found online on the official website. Students must complete the online application before applying to this award.

  • In addition to a completed application, the applicant must also submit a 500-word essay explaining 'Why should they be awarded this scholarship' signed by the applicant and his/her guidance counselor.

  • In addition, a candidate must also submit official high school transcripts to demonstrate their excellence in academics. A copy of the most recent household tax return signed by the taxpayer must also be sent.

  • Also, he/she must send two letters of recommendation where one must be from high school and one from a community service organization.

  • He/she must provide the information on the proposed postsecondary course of study and associated costs for one university for which the applicant is applying.

Award Amount and Deadline

The scholarship award amounts to $5000 that is available to one deserving candidate for one academics year.

All the above-mentioned documents along with the application form must be presented in the financial aid department of the organization on or before 27 March 2020. Any application sent post-March will be disqualified and won't be considered for valuation.

Eligibility Criteria

  • An applicant must be 16 years of age or older at the time of application.

  • A student must be a high school senior.

  • Also, he/she must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.

  • A candidate must be enrolled for full-time study at an accredited post-secondary educational institution in the United States in the upcoming fall semester.

  • A recipient must be involved in community service and demonstrate leadership in extracurricular activities.

  • An applicant must be of Asian Pacific Island/Pan-Asian American heritage.

  • Must have a grade point average of 3.3 or higher to be eligible for the scholarship.
