About the Scholarship
The scholarship is awarded by the Greater Kanawha Valley Foundation, an organization that leads the nation in wealth creation and healthcare value chain initiatives. They help individuals, families, businesses, and non-profits improve the lives within the community. Applicants may only receive one scholarship per year.
How to apply for the scholarship?
The applicant should complete the application available on the TGKVF site.
Along with the application, the applicant must also submit his/her most recent federal income tax return and grade transcript online, and FAFSA.
How much the scholarship award amounts to?
- The award amounts to $1,000 per year and is non-renewable.
Two awards are offered per year.
The deadline date is set for January 15, 2020
An applicant must be an undergraduate student from any university within the USA.
Applicant must attend a university, a four-year college, two-year college or a vocational-tech school to be eligible to get the scholarship.
The applicant must be a United States citizen.
