Writing is a program where the students are taught about the effective way of writing, in which the readers get the message appropriately and to the point. The program is basically teaching the best way of putting a message in texts that the writer wants to convey.

A Bachelor’s degree in Writing requires 32 to 48 credit points to complete, which depends upon the number of elective chosen by the student.

A Master’s degree in Writing requires 48 credit points to complete, which can be completed in two years duration.  

A Doctorate’s degree in Writing requires 85 hours of study to complete. 

Normally there are no requirements to get into a program for writing, but a student should be good at writing and have at least 2.0-2.5 GPA in his/her high school diploma.

The skills learned in a writing program is about how one should write about fiction, creative nonfiction, professional communication, digital content, grammar, and editing. Then the student specializes in a preferred area, with a focus on building a writing portfolio, developing practical projects, and engaging with industry and with readers.
