Scholarships are a great way to lighten the financial burden of a college education. But how do you about all scholarships available for Fall 2022, and where do you find them?     1. Bi-Annual $1,000 Environmental Awareness Scholarship Essay

Deadline: September 1, 2022 

Award: $1,000 

ReuseThisBag.com is an environmental awareness company that offers eco-friendly products to businesses in the US. Located in Bend, Oregon, they have an A+ BBB rating, and have offered this essay scholarship for the last few years. 

Applicants can be in either high school or college; all they have to do is write an essay answering the year’s topic: 

“Climate change is a hotly contested debate. Tell us about how you think climate change will impact future generations.”

    2. Ayn Rand Essay Contests

Deadline: September 26, 2022

Award: Up to $10,000 

Ayn Rand wrote a few novels that became bestsellers, all reflecting her political and social ideals of objectivism. Every year, students apply for various scholarship prizes based on the excellence of their essays about certain topics for two of Rand’s books: The Fountainhead and Atlas Shrugged, and Anthem. 

The best part? There’s more than one prize, as you can find various open scholarships for Fall 2022 through this organization. First place earns you $10,000, with runner-up prizes ranging from $25 - $2,500.

    3. We the Future Contest (College Students)

Deadline: September 17, 2022

Award: $2,000

Centered around the US Constitution, the We the Future Contest awards various scholarships, namely a $2,000 college scholarship, for eligible students that submit a worthy speech, song, short film, or PSA about various constitutional amendments. Eligible students must also agree to attend a Winner Mentor Trip with all expenses covered should they be successful. Students may also submit a STEM project, such as an app or website related to the First Amendment.

    4. CIA Graduate Scholarship Program

Deadline: Not yet listed, but cites Fall 2022

Award: Tuition support of $18,000 per year; $25,000 for students studying a STEM field

Ever dreamed of working for the CIA? If you win this scholarship, you’ll spend a summer working as an intern after graduation, making between $22-26 per hour. The scholarship is for $25,000 for graduate studies that relate to CIA initiatives, and students must maintain a 3.0 GPA to be eligible.

    5. Sallie Mae “No Essay” Sweepstakes

Deadline: December 31, 2022

Award: $1,000

Student loan provider Sallie Mae offers a “No Essay” Sweepstakes every year to prospective college students. While they’ve offered awards of $5,000 in the past, the website indicates a $1,000 No Essay scholarship this time around. Students must be US residents that haven’t won previous Sallie Mae Sweepstakes.

    6. 1st Financial Bank Financial Goals Scholarship

Deadline: December 31, 2022

Award: $2,000

1st Financial Bank awards a $2,000 scholarship to eligible college students or prospective college students that respond to a 500-word essay prompt.

    7. College Monk No-Essay $1,500 Scholarship

Deadline: October 15, 2022

Award: $1,500

Looking for the easiest scholarship application possible? Look no further than our very own $1,500 No Essay Scholarship. Applicants must be US citizens currently enrolled or planning to enroll in college in the next 12 months. A cheque will be mailed to the winner and they can use the funds however they choose.

    8. Dr. Pepper Tuition Giveaway

Deadline: October 13, 2022

Award: Up to $100,000

Dr. Pepper awards up to $100,000 to eligible students between the age of 18-24. To apply, all you have to do is describe your goal to change the world via a video where you introduce yourself to the panel. There are 5 $100,000 prizes, as well as a few consolation prizes of $25,000 and $2,500. Wondering when to apply for scholarships for Fall 2022 from Dr. Pepper?     9. 2022 National Space Club and Foundation Keynote Scholar Application

Award: $10,000

Interested in a career in aerospace, technology, computers, biology, or any other STEM field? The 2022 National Space Club and Foundation Keynote Scholar Application awards a $10,000 scholarship, as well as the opportunity to speak at the National Space Club and Foundation's annual Goddard Memorial Dinner, a prestigious event in the US space industry.

    10. Wild Fish For All Scholarship

Deadline: Not yet listed, but cites Fall 2022

Award: $1,000

Interested in the fishing industry, or want to explore careers in conservation management? The Native Fish Society established the Wild Fish for All Scholarship to offer diverse students financial support for fish-centric education. Students should be BIPOC-identifying and be enrolled or interested in enrolling in a fish conservation or fisheries science program.
