Application Process

To get admission in A. T. Still University, the applicants must follow the admission procedure which is as follows-

Step 1– Fill the AACOMAS Application form

Since the university uses the American Association of Colleges of Osteopathic Medicine Application Service (AACOMAS), the students must visit here and fill in the online application form or download and fill the physical form.

Then, along with the form the students must submit their MCAT score, their official transcripts, and also the AACOMAS application fee. After submitting all these, it is the student’s responsibility to contact the AACOMAS to verify that they have received everything.

Step 2-Submit the secondary application form

After submitting the AACOMAS form, if the students meet the minimum requirements, they are required to fill the secondary application form. They are required to provide the following in the secondary application form.

  • Biographical Information

  • Dual Degree Program (optional)

  • Test Scores

  • Clinical Health Experience

  • They need to answer Essay Questions in their personal statement

  • Statement of Disciplinary Actions

  • Statement of Nondiscrimination

  • Submit two letters of evaluation.

Evaluation I: Premedical Advisor, Premedical Committee, or Basic Science Faculty Member

Evaluation II: Physician (DO or MD)

  • Submit the Secondary Application fee.

Step 3– Evaluation

The admission team carries out a thorough evaluation of the applications. Personal statements and essays are also evaluated.

Step 4- Confirmation

After the evaluation, the admission team communicates the results to the students. Upon acceptance, the students need to complete certain formalities and make a deposit in order to confirm their admission.

But it is important to note that there is no concrete information regarding the average SAT score or similar requirements for admission to A T Still University of Health Sciences. Admission Requirements

For Arizona School of Health Sciences

  • The applicant must have a graduate degree from a regionally accredited four-year university or college in the United States (BA or BS)
  • Students who have not studied in the US or whose 1st language is not English must submit their English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or the International English Testing Service (IELTS) scores (Acceptable scores are: 80 on Internet-based TOEFL and 6.5 overall bands in IELTS) A.T. Still University’s institutional code is 0339.

For Doctor of Audiology

  • The applicant must have a graduate degree with a minimum GPA of 2.7 on a scale of 4.0 and the undergraduate GPA must be included in the GPA calculation if the applicant is from another country where a master’s degree is not necessary to practice.
  • Applicants must have earned a master’s or doctoral degree in audiology from a regionally accredited college or institution or the applicant must have a Master’s degree equivalency as demonstrated through state licensure in audiology or verification of the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A).
  • Official college/academic transcripts must be submitted before the commencement of the program.
  • Applicants must submit official documentation of current audiology licensure, CCC-A, Board Certification in Audiology by the American Board of Audiology (ABA), or Aud-C (in Canada).
    • If licensure and/or certification are not active presently the applicants must submit the official documents of the previous licensure and/or certification.
    • If the licensure or certification agency cannot provide paper verification forms, the applicant must provide a website URL for verification of previous licensure or certification.
    • Applicants must submit the official documentation of regulatory certification or registration to practise audiology if they practice outside of the United States or Canada.
    • If the applicant’s their license, certification or registration is revoked or suspended at the time of application, they are not eligible.
  • Applicants should have at least four years of full-time employment in audiology or 5760 hours of its part-time equivalent.
  • Official profile scores from the Evaluation of Practicing Audiologists Capabilities (EPAC) must be submitted.
  • Applicants must submit a personal resume.

Two references from audiologists or healthcare professionals familiar with the applicant’s clinical and professional experience. Letters of reference must be submitted for each application year.

Since the admissions at A. T. Still University is quite competitive, the students need to meet certain minimum requirements to get an admission. The following are the requirements that an applicant must fulfil in order to get an admission.

    • MCAT Scores- For getting an admission, the applicants are required to attempt the Medical Common Admission Test (MCAT) and submit their scores in the AACOMAS primary application. The average MCAT score of the students who got admitted to A.T. Still University was 27/503.

    • Then it is required to submit the AACOMAS application fee.

  • Supporting documents for Clinical Exposure, Clinical Experience, and work history details. It is compulsory as students are required to have a minimum Clinical exposure and experience in order to get an admission.

  • Personal Statement- The students are required to submit a personal statement telling what Osteopathic medicine is and what it means to them personally. The statement must cover their purpose of why the student is willing to do a particular program, his goals, and his ambitions.

  • Minimum GPA requirements- The students must fulfil the minimum Cumulative GPA requirement and also meet a Minimum Cumulative GPA requirement for science individually.

Since the admissions follow the American Association of Colleges of Osteopathic Medicine Application Service (AACOMAS), the ATSU deadline to apply for primary AACOMAS applications is the 1st of February.

The applicants need to apply to the university before the fall of the year of anticipated enrollment.

If the applicant meets the minimum requirements, he is asked to complete a secondary application between the 1st of March and 1st April of the year of anticipated enrollment. The secondary application needs to be finished compulsorily before the 1st of April.
