Application Process

The Boise State University admission requirements are simple and straightforward. Though some additional requirements are program-specific, the larger part of it is common.

The requirements differ as per the type of program, that is, undergraduate and graduate. The application form charges a non-refundable fee of $50 from undergraduate domestic students and $65 from graduate domestic students.

For international students, the application fee is $85 (non-refundable) for undergraduate and $95 (non-refundable) for graduate programs. You can also apply for an application fee waiver from the college website.


Undergraduate Admission Requirements

The undergraduate admission requirements are very well broadened for domestic students as per the admissions index. For residents of Idaho, the Resident admissions index is followed, which considers a combination of your cumulative unweighted high school GPA and ACT composite or SAT scores. There is no minimum SAT/ACT test score for Idaho applicants if their GPA is 3.0 or higher.

For non-residents, high school graduates under the age of 21 will be considered as per Admissions Index, which considers a combination of your cumulative unweighted high school GPA and ACT composite or SAT scores.
