Brittany Beauty Academy follows a simple application and admission process involving a total of 4 steps that are as follows: Step 1: Submitting the application The first step which a candidate is required to make for admission at Brittany Beauty Academy is applying to the university. Interested candidates can either apply online or by calling the academy at (718) 220-0400. Alternatively, they can also directly visit the university's admissions office at 210 East 188th St, Bronx, New York 10458. Students wishing to take admission at Brittany Beauty Academy can also directly contact its admissions office by phone. Step 2 in the application process is acceptance by BBA It should be noted by the candidates that submitting ACT and SAT scores is recommended but not mandatory at Brittany Beauty Academy. Further, after submitting the form and depositing the enrollment fee, to receive their admission decision, students are required to submit the following documents:
Essay: Also known as the personal statement, the essay submitted by an applicant offers them a unique way to showcase their achievements and personality. It is advised that applicants include personal experiences and anecdotes as well.
Transcripts: Submitting the necessary high-school and academy transcripts is an important part of the evaluation process. An applicant can use Parchment (or similar platforms) to submit the same.
Official Test Scores: As mentioned above, submitting SAT and ACT scores at BBA is not mandatory and not all students submit them. Moreover, by submitting these official scores, a candidate can make a stronger claim for securing a seat at Brittany Beauty Academy. Once the academy finishes looking into applications, additional documents or information might be requested. Step 3 involves confirmation of attendance As part of the Step 3 in the admission process, the candidates must confirm their attendance to Brittany Beauty Academy. The candidates will be required to complete their Financial Check-In process and select their housing, too.
