Iraq and Afghanistan Service Grant (IASG) :This grant is provided to students whose parent or guardian was a member of the United States armed forces and dies in service in Iraq or Afghanistan after September 11, 2011. The award amount may be similar to Federal Pell grant and would not exceed the student’s cost of attendance.
Children of fallen Heroes Scholarship Act : This is awarded to students whose parent or guardian dies in the line of duty while performing as a public safety officer. The award amount may vary with respect to Federal Pell grants. Students should be enrolled at an institution of higher education.
