Steps to apply for financial aid

  • Apply to Olivet Nazarene University. Olivet Nazarene University offers merit scholarships for academics, athletics, music, and art.
  • Apply for federal and state grants. Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to begin the process of obtaining financial aid. This form can be filled out online. The online application requires an FSA ID. ONU’s school code: 001741.
  • Students can seek out additional scholarships made available through private funding.

Depending on the financial aid available to the family or the student, the income bracket may either pay more or less than the overall average costs. Incomes between $0-30,000 receive the aid of about $29,434.

A slight change is observed with the change in range; income between $30,001-48,000 receives $31,239. For incomes ranging between $48,001-75,000 the aid provided is $29,052.

When the income range increases the aid amount decreases. $110,000 and higher receive an aid amount of $21,510.
