The Cost of Attendance (COA) is an estimate for fall and spring semester (9 months) of what it costs a typical student to attend The University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) and is NOT a bill from UTEP.
The COA includes tuition and fees, room and board, an allowance for books and supplies, transportation, loan fees, and, if applicable, dependent care which amounts as follows:
Books & Supplies - $1,632
Room & Board - $8,781
Other Expenses in-state and out-state - $4,232
For students attending less than half - time, the COA includes tuition and fees and an allowance for books, supplies, transportation, and dependent care expenses. Contact the Office of Student Financial Aid if you have any unusual expenses that might affect your cost of attendance.
On the whole, the total tuition and fees for in-state and our-state come to $8,198 and $22,629.
