The University of Advanced Technology (UAT) is a private for-profit institution that was established back in the year 1983 in  Tempe, Arizona.

Before everything, the college was known as the first CAD institute, a school concentrated on preparing engineers and architects in the new field of the computer-aided structure.

The institution offers diverse classes in Legal issues in Technology, Technology and Society, Ethics in Technology and numerous different courses in various majors. For a student to graduate from a college needs to finish a "Student Innovation Project" and Internship.

The college offers various programs in associates, bachelor's and master's degrees both on campus as well as through their online classes. There are 20 undergrad majors and 5 different areas of study at the graduate level which incorporate innovation, video gaming design, and digital media.

The university got their recognition and accreditation from the Higher Learning Commission (HLC) and also a member of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools to award above-mentioned degree programs. The school’s programs do not have any ABET or ATMAE accreditation.

UAT has a student to faculty ratio of 10:1 to empower students to have one-on-one sessions with their faculties easily. This is considered as a perfect ratio for an institution. At the present time, there is a total of 758 students enrolled with the University of Advancing Technology for various programs.
