The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB), is a public type of institution located in Birmingham, Alabama. It is a public research institution established in the year 1936 and became a four-year campus in 1966 and an independent institution in the year 1969.

It is one of the autonomous universities within the newly created three-campus University of Alabama System. The current president of the institute is Ray L. Watts. UAB is the state's largest single employer, with more than 23,000 faculty and staff and over 53,000 jobs at the university and in the health system.

The University of Alabama at Birmingham offers 92 online programs across 15 majors which include programs in Accounting 3 programs, Business Management 15 programs, Criminal Justice 3 programs, Psychology 1 program, Health Science 21 programs, Information Systems 1 program. The University also has a different sports division and is famous for 3 games which are football, bowling, and rifle. The football team Blazer had a historic season in 2018.

  • Step 1- Apply Online at uab.edu/chooseuab- the process of admission starts by just filling up the application form available on the official website of the University. It will just take minutes for the applicants to fill up all the necessary details and move on to the other step.

  • Step 2- Pay application fee- the other step of the admission process is to pay the application fee which is 30 dollars only. The fee is to be paid immediately after filling up the form, in certain exceptional cases the fee can be paid later on.
