How to Apply to the University of Michigan

Step 1: Gather Documents, Forms, and Fees.

Step 2: Submit Your Application

Alternatively, they can also directly visit the university's admissions office at 503 Thompson Street, Ann Arbor, Michigan 48109. They can contact the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor admissions office by phone as well. 

Note: The University of Michigan highly recommends that you submit your documents for application electronically. 

Step 3: Confirm Attendance 

The candidates have to confirm their attendance to University of Michigan-Ann Arbor to complete the third step. They will also be required to select their housing as well as complete their Financial Check-In process. Review and verification of Summary of Accounts and Financial Aid (scholarships, fees, and tuition costs), choosing a lodging option, selecting a payment plan, and making the first payment are some of the processes included in the admission at the varsity. Before proceeding to register for classes, candidates also have to complete the Math and English assessments. 

Step 4: Register for Classes

Registration for courses is the last step, once all the above three steps are complete.

When making admission decisions, the University of Michigan considers applicants’ SAT scores. However, these scores aren’t mandatory, and not all students submit them with their application.
