Founded in the year 1857, Upper Iowa University is a private not-for-profit university that has been dedicated to providing and enabling higher quality education to help students reach their higher potential. The mission of the university is to provide quality educational opportunities accessible through varied delivery methods to inspire success and empower lives.

The student-centered policies have made the university a recognized innovator in offering programs through multiple delivery systems. The programs are designed in order to fit for any learner from any financial background.
