Undergraduate Application Requirements

To gain admission to the university, the candidates will be required to submit the following:

  • An official high school transcript.

  • Official GED certificate or score report.

  • Evidence of a passing score on tests recognized by the state such as the High School Equivalency Test (HSET) and the Test Assessing Secondary Completion (TASC).

  • Official college or university transcript that lists the high school graduation date.

  • International students will be required to submit official transcripts verifying completion of secondary education.

Graduate Application Requirements

  • Graduate applicants will be required to have earned at least a 2.75 GPA in their undergraduate coursework or a 3.0 on the most recent 60-semester credits of undergraduate work.

  • If the applicant desires admission to the master of education program, then they must have earned at least a 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale.

  • Master of education program applicants will also be required to submit two letters of recommendation as well as provide photocopies of current teaching certificates and licenses.

  • Graduate students also may submit acceptable GRE or GMAT scores.

  • International graduate students must submit TOEFL scores.
