About the Scholarship

This award is available for U.S. college juniors who are planning to pursue a master's or doctoral degree in the arts, humanities or the social sciences and must have a grade point average of 3.5 or higher. Students must currently attend and be nominated by one of the participating colleges or universities. Eligibility Criteria

This award is for U.S. students. Must currently attend and be nominated by one of the participating colleges or universities. A list of these schools can be found at www.beineckescholarship.org/NominatingInstit.htm Must have a grade point average of 3.5 or higher. Must plan to pursue a master's or doctoral degree in the arts, humanities or the social sciences. Must be a U.S. citizen OR a U.S. national from American Samoa or the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands. Must be a full-time student. Must currently be a college junior pursuing a bachelor's degree during the current academic year.
