About the Scholarship
This" Delaware Solid Waste Authority John P. 'Pat' Healy Scholarship" award is awarded by the organization Delaware Higher Education Office for four years bachelor's and master's degree programs of environmental engineering or environmental science loan forgiveness. This scholarship is for high school senior, college freshman, or college sophomore.
How to apply for the scholarship?
Applications are available on the official website Delaware Higher Education Office and all the applicants must access the online application in order to apply for this scholarship.
- A student must submit unofficial college transcript information and updated college enrollment information.
- A student must have to submit FAFSA certificate.
A student must submit the Official scorecards of ACT/SAT to demonstrate the completion of the graduation semester as well as academic performance.
A student must also submit a reference letter.
All the official transcripts and documents should be submitted before the deadline.
The awarded amount for the scholarship:
The amount awarded for this scholarship is $2,000 per year and is renewable for three additional years. The number of awards given to the eligible candidates per year is one.
Deadline of the scholarship:
The deadline for the scholarship is the 4th of March.
At the time of applying for the scholarship, the candidate must be a senior at high school or college and enrolled program for environmental engineering or environmental science.
He/she must reside at Delaware.
He/she must be an eligible non-citizen or resident of the US.
The applicant's cumulative grade point should be of 3.0 or higher if a current undergraduate.
