About the Scholarship

The dependents of Army soldiers who are under 23 years of age and enrolling full time in an undergraduate program are eligible for this award. Students must be unmarried, be registered in the Defense Eligibility Enrollment Reporting System (DEERS), and have a grade point average of 2.0 or higher. Eligibility Criteria

This award is for U.S. students. Must be a U.S. citizen. Must have a grade point average of 2.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale. Must be enrolled, accepted, or pending acceptance as a full-time student in a postsecondary or vocational educational institution approved and accredited by the U.S. Department of Education. Must be under the age of 23. Eligibility ends at the end of the semester/term in which the student reaches his/her 23rd birthday. For example, turning 23 in December would mean the scholarship would be awarded for fall term only. Must be the dependent of an Army soldier who is on active duty, retired, or deceased while on active duty or after retirement. Must be registered in the Defense Eligibility Enrollment Reporting System (DEERS). Must be unmarried and remain unmarried for the entire academic year. Must be an incoming or current undergraduate student.
