About the Scholarship
This Scholarship was established by Margaret Kesterson in 1989 for working students who are studying or want to study in 26 northernmost countries of the Texas Panhandle Amarillo College or West Texas A&M University.
How to apply for this Scholarship?
Must submit FAFSA qualified certificate
Must submit ACT/SAT scorecard
In addition to this scholarship, the student should submit their proof of U.S. citizenship or residency, official high school and/or college transcripts, ACT/SAT scores, a current IRS Form 1040, and two letters of recommendation
Amount Awarded for the scholarship:
The award amount for this scholarship is $250 per each semester for 8 semesters.
Selection is held by AFF. The application is found in AFF scholarship of aaf.spectrumportal.net
1 award is given to an eligible student per year and this award is non-renewable.
Deadline for the Scholarship:
The deadline for the scholarship is the 8th of February.
An applicant must be a student in any 26 countries of Texas Panhandle and must have a plan to attend Amarillo College in any major.
A student must exhibit the need for financial assistance.
An applicant must have earned at least a 2.5-grade point average to be eligible for the scholarship.
A student must maintain part-time employment and attend the college/university.
