About the Scholarship

The Southwestern Tack Scholarship is committed to helping the students to achieve higher education by providing financial assistance. The Southwestern Equine industry believes that responsibility of owning, training and caring for horses build young men and women with responsibility and moral character in the community. The scholarship is awarded to the students who are economically backward in reaching their educational dreams. An applicant's professional goal in life to be a Vet, improve the breeding of livestock, help farmers grow better crops, work with horses or livestock as a career? If so we would like to help you reach those goals.


How to apply for a Scholarship?

  • An applicant must fill the online scholarship application.

  • A student must provide proof of current enrollment in which an applicant related to.


What is the Total Amount Awarded?

The scholarship awards $500 to one applicant per annum, the awards are non-renewable.

An applicant must apply for this scholarship before September 1st.

 


Eligibility Criteria

  • Students that are currently enrolled in college and majoring in an academic program like Veterinary, Animal Husbandry, Equestrian Science, Agriculture, Farming can apply to this scholarship.

  • A student should have proof of current enrollment in a related field.

  • An applicant must be an official resident of the United States.
