About the Scholarship
Silicon Valley Community Foundation sponsors the Marie A. Calderilla Scholarship. SVCF was formed in 2007 with the motive to provide solutions to the challenging problems and partner with donors to grow and make their region a better place.
The Marie A. Calderilla Scholarship was set up in the year 2007 through a liberal blessing from Marie A. Calderilla, envisioned for female understudies presently enlisted or wanting to go to a school inside the San Mateo County Community College District.
How do I apply for this scholarship?
An official transcript of grades and a signed and dated personal statement addressing the topics listed on the application must be submitted.
Candidates applying for this grant must complete their Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) application to determine their financial position and receive the scholarship.
Candidates must provide proof of U.S. citizenship (photocopy of birth certificate, passport or naturalization papers).
This scholarship provides $5000 annually which is renewable for up to 3 additional years.
The total number of awards offered by this scholarship ranges up to 30 awards annually including the renewals.
The applications are to be submitted along with the required applications before the due date that is by the end of April 24. The deadline date is subject to change from one academic year to another. Students enrolled in a four-year degree program at a San Mateo County Community College District college are eligible for up to four years of funding.
Applicants must be female students, pursuing a first undergraduate degree or certificate program, graduating high school senior or returning student planning to attend a college in the San Mateo County Community College District.
An applicant must be a female who is legally recognized citizen of the United Citizen to be eligible for the scholarship.
