The University of Hawaii-west Oahu (UHWO) is a public institution that was established in the year 1976 and is located in Kapolei, Hawaii.
This university is one of ten campuses of the University of Hawaii system. In the year 2007, it became a four-year university. UH, West O’ahu’s Advisory Councils play a vital role in the governance and planning of campus initiatives.
