Nursing is a course which prepares students to work in a hospital or as a social worker providing and teaching them the relevant set of skills. The main objective of this course is to provide theoretical as well as practical knowledge of the field to the entry-level nurses.

An Accredited Nursing School creates a pathway for the students to enrol in nursing programs offered by the Colleges/Universities which are funded by the federal government or the state government.

Associate’s degree in Nursing also referred to as ASN, requires 12 or more college credits and takes almost three to four years to complete

Bachelor’s degree in Nursing also referred as BSN, requires 120 to 123 credit points, with a completion of 3 college credit.

Master’s degree in nursing also referred as MSN, needs 36 to 54 credit point to be completed.

Doctorate’s degree in Nursing also referred to as DNS, is a 27 to 30 credit program.

There are few requirements which need to be fulfilled before one applies for an admission in the nursing program. The student should have a high school diploma with a minimum of 2.0- 3.0 GPA.
