Filling the online application form

The admission process begins with the filling of the online application form. Once you have cleared all doubts about the program and requirements you can start with the application form.

These documents will play an important part in your evaluation process and they also serve as a proof of your eligibility for the program you are applying for.

Test Score Submission

Brandman University does not accept SAT/ACT scores, but it does consider graduate-level test scores like GRE/GMAT. Applicants need to send their test scores along with the official transcripts based on requirements.

Writing sample and letter of reference

Graduate applicants need to give writing samples that show graduate-level communication and analytical skills.

They also need to send letters of reference from persons who can attest to the applicant's ability to do graduate-level work. Letter of explanation detailing the reasons the student believes he or she is a suitable candidate for graduate study in the discipline requested.

Acceptance Letter

Once you have completed the above steps, your application will be evaluated on various parameters and if you are selected,  an acceptance letter will be sent to you. Once you are selected, the university will ask you to submit the official documents along with the fee.

But it is important to note that there is no concrete information regarding the average SAT score or similar requirements for admission to Brandman University. Undergraduate Admission Requirements

  • Applicants must submit the online application form.

  • Applicants must have completed high school education from a recognized school. 

  • Students applying for undergraduate admission to a bachelor's program require at least 12 transferable baccalaureate-level credits (or the equivalent) from a regionally accredited college or university and a minimum 2.0 cumulative GPA in all prior college-level coursework.

  • Students applying for undergraduate admission to an associate (AA) program require a High school diploma, GED equivalent OR official high school transcript indicating the date of graduation. High school cumulative GPA of 2.0 and they need to pass admissions exams in English and Maths.

  • In order to process your application, you must provide official transcripts from ALL colleges and universities you have attended or been admitted to, including military and foreign institutions, since high school.

  • International students who have completed a degree must also submit a copy of their diploma in the native language along with an International Diploma Translation in English.

Graduate Admission Requirements

  • They need to complete and submit the online application form. 

  • Candidates must have completed a bachelor's degree from a recognized institute.

  • Applicants need to have a 3.0 GPA calculated over the most recent 30 graded semesters (45 quarter) credits completed in either a baccalaureate or post-baccalaureate program, including credits earned toward a credential.

  • A GPA between 2.5 - 2.99 (MAE/MAT requires 2.75-2.99) calculated over the most recent graded 30 semesters (45 quarter) credits completed in either a baccalaureate or post-baccalaureate program, including credits earned toward a credential and a satisfactory score on an accepted graduate admissions exam (GRE, GMAT, CSET, or MAT). 

  • Applicants need to submit a portfolio showing adequate preparation for graduate studies. The portfolio will contain the following:

  1.  Writing samples that show graduate-level communication and analytical skills.

  2. Detailed resume showing professional development, achievements, awards, and professional recognition.

  3. Letters of reference from persons who can attest to the applicant's ability to do graduate-level work.

  4. Letter of explanation detailing the reasons the student believes he or she is a suitable candidate for graduate study in the discipline requested

  • Submit test scores as per your program requirements.

  • To process your application, the Office of Admissions must receive official transcripts from ALL the baccalaureate degree-granting institutions and institutions where post-baccalaureate coursework was completed or attempted.
