National University (NU) was founded in 1971. It is the largest private not-for-profit institution in San Diego. The university is located at La Jolla, California. The university has been providing online education for over 20 years. The community has reached over 150,000 alumni worldwide.

National University, which is located in La Jolla, CA is a private university. In 1971, National University was founded by David Chigos. Keeping the pursuit of research, innovation, and excellence at the center, National University has been imparting quality education to its students. The motto of the varsity is Discendo Vivimus, (Latin) and its official colors are blue and gray.
