Excelsior College is a private not-for-profit distance learning institution established in the year 1971 by the New York State Board of Regents focused on providing educational opportunities to adult learners. The college comprises three schools: the School of Undergraduate Studies, the School of Graduate Studies, and the School of Nursing.
Excelsior College’s mission is to provide educational opportunities to the students with an emphasis on historically underrepresented in higher education.
