The application and admission process at SIT Graduate Institute is quite simple and it includes a total of 4 steps that are as follows: Step 1 that a prospective candidate needs to complete: Submitting the application The first step which a candidate is required to make for admission at SIT Graduate Institute is applying to the university. To apply to the university, interested candidates can either call the college at (802) 257-7751 or do it through online mode to secure admission. They can also follow an alternate way to take admission to the college by visiting its admissions office at 1 Kipling Rd, Brattleboro, Vermont 05302-0676. They can contact the SIT Graduate Institute admissions office by phone as well. Step 2 in the application process is acceptance by SGI It should be noted by the candidates that submitting ACT and SAT scores is recommended but not mandatory at SIT Graduate Institute. Further, after submitting the form and depositing the enrollment fee, to receive their admission decision, students are required to submit the following documents: Essay: Also known as the personal statement, the essay submitted by an applicant offers them a unique way to showcase their achievements and personality. It is advised that applicants include personal experiences and anecdotes as well. Transcripts: Submitting the necessary high-school and college transcripts is an important part of the evaluation process. An applicant can use Parchment (or similar platforms) to submit the same. Official Test Scores: As mentioned above, submitting SAT and ACT scores at SGI is not mandatory and not all students submit them. Moreover, by submitting these official scores, a candidate can make a stronger claim for securing a seat at SIT Graduate Institute. The college may request additional documents or information from the applicants once the reviewing process is over. Step 3: Confirm Your Attendance As part of the Step 3 in the admission process, the candidates must confirm their attendance to SIT Graduate Institute. Additionally, they will be required to complete their Financial Check-In process and select their housing as well. Review and verification of Summary of Accounts and Financial Aid (scholarships, fees, and tuition costs), choosing a lodging option, selecting a payment plan, and making the first payment are some of the processes included in the admission at the varsity. Before proceeding to register for classes, candidates also have to complete the Math and English assessments. In Step 4, candidates need to register for classes Once all the processes mentioned above are completed, the candidates will be required to register for courses.

Every college and college has its own application deadlines, but they fall around the same time. Early applicants (early action, early decision, or single-choice early action) generally need to get their applications in November which varies for different universities. In the due course of scrutinizing applications, the varsity also considers various factors to make error-less decisions. Fall applications, which are rather preferred by the students, start in September and usually go on till April. Though the final deadline is in April, a deadline has been set in September as well.
