There is a public university in Edmond, OK called University of Central Oklahoma. University of Central Oklahoma covers an area of 210 acres. University of Central Oklahoma was founded in the year 1890. Keeping the pursuit of research, innovation, and excellence at the center, University of Central Oklahoma has been imparting quality education to its students. The motto of the varsity is Ubi Motus Est (Latin) and its official colors are blue and bronze. It has been accredited by ABET (Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology, Inc.), ABFSE (American Board of Funeral Service Education, Inc.), ACBSP (Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs), and ADiA (American Dietetic Association). The total endowment of the University of Central Oklahoma is around $32 million (2017).
