The process is of three steps is there for admission and all the necessary documents will be shared with the office and if in case the document was delivered to wrong address then the process of admission will take time.

Ohio University offers five associate's degree programs or eight online bachelors the candidate can choose any one which they wanted the degree into and can learn it by being at home only the university offers blended as well as online programs in the distance learning program. If there is any student who wanted to opt the distance education but has not completed his associate's degree from any college of Ohio University is eligible and can enroll in any bachelor degree program with an online stream.

For the distance education programs and students, the Ohio University has an eCampus Student Knowledge Center and various resources, tools, software, advisors, tech support, learning support, the section for veterans, testing and success centers, and services to offer. The advising, invoicing, shipping of course materials, submitting lessons, and receiving grades through postal systems and if the student has any doubts or need to know anything then they can contact the administration through telephone or email. All the students who are opting for online distance education program will get a mentor except the legal studies certificate students.

The authorized office where all the necessary document needs to be delivered for an undergraduate degree programme:

Chubb Hall 120
1 Ohio University
Athens OH 45701

The student needs to pay 25 dollars application fee which is non-refundable in nature. The fee and documents should be delivered at the same time and then if the student is sending a check they should specify student identification number and correction ID, the name of the student the check should be owed to Ohio University.

The student needs to send the copy of the transcript of previous college or university in which they have studied recently they need to send only an authorized copy which is checked by the school officials at registrar office of Ohio University.

For the students who wanted to do degree course need to submit GED completion document and all the candidate need to be very attentive that all the transcripts they are sending should be unopened. The students who have got admitted can grab the opportunity of gaining credits by College-Level Examination Program (CLEP) credits and it must be done prior to registration into the particular program.

Admission Standards

The Ohio University is open to all and welcomes national as well as international students application there is no condition if a student is a beginner he/she can also apply as well as if a student who has already gained an associate degree from some other college.

There are some policies and conditions applied on candidate's who wanted to apply for distance learning courses first is they need to finish 9 semester hours or higher and 9 semester hours means 12 quarter hours according to university online courses admission policies. And, it can be gained through any university which is affiliated and accredited and any district level or territory level accredited college.

The students who are coming through this guideline will be considered as a transfer candidate. The cumulative grade point average of 2.0 or more is best for transfer candidates as this is the first condition which the candidates are fulfilling for admission. One of the main points is if the candidate has finished up to 20 or 30 semesters of the curriculum from any college or university then it will be counted with their admission profile.

In another category, the students who have recently completed their General Education Development diploma or high school diploma program from any other college or university and the calculation about semester is same that is 9 semester hours or 12 quarter hours are eligible and can apply for the admission process for distance learning.

The students need to give ACT or SAT scorecard as it is also a mandatory admission condition for eligibility which the candidate has got from the test organizations and authorized high school transcripts. Few of the online programs offered by the Ohio University has a more thorough process and needs.

Students need to make an account with the help of email ID and log in through that and need to fill the application form. The student needs to check whether they have the eligibility to register into an online program of Ohio University or not as every state have different criteria and policies.
