The scholarship is awarded by the Community Foundations of the Hudson Valley, an organization that facilitates works to strengthen their community and monitor funds and provide when it is needed for the charities. The organization even provides technical support to help nonprofits institutions operate more maximum.
The scholarship is provided in the memory of Lisa Morey who was exceptional in playing football. Lisa's career in basketball was started at St. Martin de Porres in 4th grade, it is the place where she won Archdiocesan Championship. She has strived hard and has bought many titles and awards for the teams that she played for.
The applicant must complete the application which can be found on the Community Foundation of Hudson Valley site.
An applicant must fill in the FAFSA application form that is used to analyze the financial position of a student.
Along with the application, the applicant should also submit official academic transcripts and recommendation from a coach or faculty member.
The award amounts to $1,000 per year and is non-renewable. All the documents and official transcripts must be submitted to the institution on or before April 1.

An applicant must be a legal resident in any state of the United States who demonstrates complete involvement in sports.
A student must be graduating high school female athletes from Roy C. Ketcham High School.
You must have participated in sports sportsmanship, community service, and mentorship of other athletes.
