Digital art is a field of arts that use digital means and technology as an essential part of the creative and presentation process. This course is designed to introduce students to the basic digital image manipulation skills within the fine arts contexts of creative arts and expressions.

National Association of Schools of Art and Design (NASAD)

The digital arts course covers subjects such as art history and evolution, drawing, 3-dimensional modelling and animation, digital imaging, design studio. This subject teaches the students about how to apply technology and software’s to create a digital art under the context of fine arts of creative expressions.

An Associate’s degree prepares students for the entry-level careers in web or graphic designing. It requires 60-70 credits and takes 2 years to be completed.

A Bachelor’s degree provides the student's skills to work in the multimedia and animation field. It requires 90-120 credits and takes 4 years to be completed.

A Master’s degree provides a theoretical understanding of the digital culture and the design processes associated with it. It requires 50-80 credits and takes 2 years to be completed.

The minimum GPA requirements to apply for admission in the digital arts program falls between 2.0-3.00.
