Chadron State College (CSC) is a public institution that was established in the year 1911 to provide higher education in Nebraska. CSC is the youngest state college and was first established as Nebraska Normal School.
In the year 1921, Nebraska Legislature changed the name to Nebraska State Teacher College. And it was renamed as Chadron State College in 1964.
From 1964, the college made many changes by constructing student center, Residence Hall Complex, Library, Armstrong Gym, and many more. It is the only 4-year graduate-degree granting college.
