DSU has offered many financial aids over the years to its dedicated students that their total aid amount now reaches up to $54,760,111, with scholarships covering 54% of the student population. This has helped (and still does) students grab numerous opportunities to explore the farthest subject to specific eligibility criteria.

Scholarships

  • DSU Rising Scholarships: The DSU Rising Annual Scholarships have a four-year guarantee of $20,000.

  • Horatio Alger Denny Stanford Scholarship: It awards $10,000 dispersed throughout the student’s college experience.

  • DSU Chamionship Scholarships: DSU Annual Championship Scholarships have a four-year guarantee of $4,000.

  • PEO Chapter CP Scholarship: The scholarship is applicable to the residents of Lake Country amounting to $500.

  • South Dakota Retailers Scholarship: The recipients must graduate from South Dakota High School with a desire in the retail field. It has awards ranging from $2,250 - $3,000.

  • Sioux Empire Rock-A-Betties: This offers awards amounting to $800 for non-traditional students.

  • Hatterscheidt Foundation Scholarship: These are awarded to the South Dakota residents who are in the upper 30% of their current year’s high school graduating class.
