The University of Hartford is a private not-for-profit institution that aims at providing quality education to the student community. The university offers more than 80 programs for undergraduate students and more than 30 programs for graduate students. Admission Process

Undergraduate Admission Requirements

Following are the requirements for undergraduate students applying for admissions-

  • The student must complete the online admission form or download and submit a physical form. The University accepts the common application, so the students can also apply through it.

  • Letters of Recommendation- The student needs to submit a letter of recommendation from their high school teacher or their counselor with their contact information.

  • Transcripts- The students need to submit their high school transcripts or GED certificate in case. They should also submit any college transcripts if applicable.

  • An application fee of $35 to apply to the university.

  • SAT/ACT Scores- SAT or ACT scores are optional and applicable as per their test-optional policy. 

  • The students need to meet the minimum GPA requirements.

  • Since the college accepts credits, the students must submit any AP credits, dual credits or any credits for life experiences that they might have.

The graduate students applying for admissions should fulfill certain requirements. Although these requirements are different based on the program that you have applied for, there are certain requirements that are common for all such as-

  • Transcripts The applicant must submit transcripts from all the previous educational qualifications.

  • Resume- The students applying for graduate students must have a resume covering all the educational qualifications and achievements as well as professional experiences.
