Olivet Nazarene University is a private not-for-profit Christian university that was established in the year 1907 by a group of families who desired Christian Education for their children and started as a grammar school. In the year 1908, the founders of the school acquired a 14-acre land, and hence the journey started. It stands committed to integrating faith and learning. At Olivet, faith and learning go hand in hand. It has high rates of graduates which show the growth of students in the university.
The university currently holds a 275-acre campus in Bourbonnais, Illinois. The total population of the university is 4,655 with a student-faculty ratio of 16:1 to make it very easy for a student to have a one on one sessions with their faculties.
