Our Lady of the Lake University, also known as the Lake, is a Catholic, private not for profit university that was founded in the year 1895 by the sisters of the Divine Providence. Our Lady of the Lake University was one of the first universities to receive a regional accreditation and also its school of social service is the oldest social work school in Texas as well. It has its main campus located at San Antonio. Other campuses are located in Houston and Rio Grande Valley which are mainly designed to promote online courses and to serve other students across the United States.

The main objective of Our Lady of the Lake University is to serve the fresh students by providing them quality education so that the students may be able to become pillars of the society in the near future and help the society to prosper in the right direction.
