SCAD Student Grant

Savannah College of Art and Design provides grants to students ranging from US$1,500 to US$3,000 depending on their grade levels and eligibility, the latter of which is determined by their FAFSA application.

SCAD Athletic Grant

Savannah College of Art and Design provides athletic grants to students ranging from US$2,000 to US$12,000 depending on their grade level and eligibility. This grant is awarded by the college’s sports coach, with the eligibility stretching for only a year. Students applying for this grant must sign a contract in order to obtain it.

Federal Pell Grants

The Pell Grant is a need-based grant available to degree-seeking students who are pursuing their first undergraduate degree. Student eligibility is based upon the Expected Family Contribution (EFC), as calculated by the federal government based on the information the student provided in their FAFSA applications. The amount provided is up to US$6,095, with the eligibility criteria defined by the EFC, which lies between US$0 and US$5,486

Georgia Tuition Equalization Grant

The Georgia Tuition Equalization Grant Program (GTEG) encourages the residents of Georgia to attend eligible private state colleges by providing assistance towards educational costs. The amount provided ranges between US$900 to US$1,200.

Supplemental Education Opportunity Grant (SEOG)

The Supplementary Education Opportunity Grant program was established to assist in making the benefits of postsecondary education available to first-time, degree-seeking, undergraduate students. Awards are based upon the remaining unanswered needs of students eligible for the Pell Grant. Funds are available to students on a limited basis; the amount provided is between the ranges of US$100 - US$4,000, with the eligibility criteria defined as per the financial needs.
