Supply chain management is the study of the flow of resources, produced goods, raw materials from one place to another. It is the management process that is concerned with the storage and movement of raw materials, work in progress inventory and finished goods from one place to another.

An Accredited College/University creates a pathway for the students to enroll in supply chain management programs offered by the Colleges/University which are funded by the federal government or the state government.

The supply chain management teaches students about marketing, sourcing, logistics, inventory management, logistics and customer relations. An Associate’s degree requires 60-70 credits and takes 2 years to be completed. It equips the students with the professional skills required to manage the supply chain.

A Bachelor’s degree requires 120-130 credits and takes 4 years to be completed. It provides knowledge about purchasing, inventory control, logistics, warehousing, and material management.

A Master’s degree provides the students deeper knowledge about the supply chain and logistics. It requires 30-40 credits and takes 2 years to be completed.

A Doctorate’s degree requires 50-70 credits and takes 3-4 years to be completed. It provides the student's knowledge about ethics in business, data analysis, formulas and models for supply chain activities.

The minimum GPA requirement for getting admission in supply chain management course falls between 2.8-3.00.
